Parks & Recreation Board

Overview

Functions in an advisory capacity to hear from those wishing to utilize City park facilities and make recommendations to City Council on the merits of the request. The Board also helps the City Administration set goals and priorities for improvements of recreational opportunities in the community.

Member Qualifications

Comprised of five citizens of the city who have qualifications required by this charter for elective officers of the city; provided that, when the scope of interest of any board may extend beyond the limits of the city, one member of the board may be a nonresident.
