The City of Grand Haven will hold a public hearing on the proposed Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) Project Plan for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons.
The hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the following location: Grand Haven City Hall located at 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. A virtual login to the meeting will also be available on “The City of Grand Haven” Facebook page.
The purpose of the proposed project is to address aging infrastructure, undersized water mains, and replacement of lead water services.
Project Construction will involve construction of new water mains, isolation valves, fire hydrants, and new copper water services.
The estimated cost to users for the proposed project will be: $17,352,742
Impacts of the proposed project include construction related road closures, detours, sidewalk closures, and tree removal, and construction-related dust. Appropriate countermeasures will be put in place to prevent soil erosion and sedimentation from job sites.
