PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the 2023 Street Resurfacing Project will begin the Monday, May 1, 2023. The project will start with manhole removals and lowering in preparation for milling. Milling operations will also begin the same week. Paving of the streets will begin the week of Monday, May 8, 2023. Pavement markings and clean up are scheduled for the week of Monday, May 15, 2023. The streets being resurfaced are listed below:
• Waverly Avenue, Sheldon to Cutler
• Waverly Avenue, Beacon to Ferry
• Washington Avenue, Beacon to Ferry
• N 2nd Street, Columbus to Jackson
• Elliott Avenue, 2nd to Beacon
• 6th Street, Madison to Clinton
• Windrift Drive, Harbor to Dead End
• Memory Lane, Harbor to Prospect
• 3rd and Franklin Parking Lot
While these areas are being milled, or resurfaced, there will be “No Parking, Tow-Away Zone” signs posted. Contractors will maintain through traffic at all locations.
