City Clerk
The City Clerk serves as Clerk to the City Council. This office keeps all City records and documents; administers elections and maintains voter registration records; prepares and posts public notices; and issues various licenses and permits.

Polling Location & Sample Ballots
Not sure where to vote? If you are registered to vote in the City of Grand Haven, visit the State of Michigan’s Voter Information Center to find your polling location or see a map of Grand Haven polling locations. After entering your information, you will have the ability to view a sample ballot once they are available.
Voting
To vote, simply appear at your assigned polling place on election day with photo identification. The polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. All Voter Identification Cards list a precinct number and provide the polling place location. If you do not receive a Voter Identification Card within three weeks after registering, contact the City Clerk’s Office to confirm your registration status.
