Motor Pool

This intergovernmental service fund was established to share the costs of vehicle purchases, maintenance, and use across all City Funds and to provide financing for future needs. The Motor Pool Fund provides for the purchase and maintenance of 65 motor vehicles from police cruisers to front end loaders to trolleys as well as 70 miscellaneous pieces of equipment from snow plows to lawn mowers. Fire equipment is not included in this fund because of the specialized nature of the equipment.
