The City of Grand Haven Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled Public Hearings to gather citizen input on the following requests:
Case 23-06: A request by Anna and Scott Rowley for a variance related to a proposed driveway apron at 536 Oakes Ave. (parcel #70-03-29-429-007): a variance from Sec. 40-600.03.C.2 to allow a driveway apron in front of the home where the driveway apron must be located closer to the side lot line.
Case 23-07: A request by Jack and Sue Jerovsek for a variance related to a deck expansion at 330 Franklin Ave. (parcel #70-03-20-476-029): a variance from Sec. 40-408.02.C to allow a rear yard setback at a distance of 14 feet 3 inches, where the required rear yard setback is 20 feet in the Southside District.
The Public Hearings are scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the City of Grand Haven Council Chambers, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. The meeting packet will be posted on the City website by the Friday prior to the hearings https://www.grandhaven.org/city-services/agendas/.
