Planning Commission *Public Hearing*

September 19, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The City of Grand Haven Planning Commission has scheduled Public Hearings to gather citizen input on the following requests:

  1. Case 23-27: A special land use permit for a retaining wall over 48 inches in height located at 217 S. 1st (parcel #70-03-20-451-012).
  2. Case 23-28: A special land use permit for a retaining wall over 48 inches in height at Sandpiper Condominiums located near Howard Ave. and Sand Dr. (parcel #70-03-20-398-015).
  3. Case 23-31: A special land use permit for a mixed-use development located at 300 Washington Ave. (parcel #70-03-20-437-011).
  4. Case 23-33: A special land use permit for a drive-though business located at 805 S. Beacon Blvd. (parcel #70-03-28-155-019).

The Public Hearings are scheduled for September 19, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Grand Haven Council Chambers, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI  49417. If you have any questions regarding this notice, or if you would like to review the applications, please contact the Planning Department at 616-935-3276.

Individuals may express their opinions in person at the public hearings, or written comments may be addressed to Grand Haven Planning Commission, c/o Brian Urquhart, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. To be considered at the public hearing, written and emailed comments must be received by 12:00PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
