Public Act 228 of 2020 gives local units of government the ability to conduct public meetings through remote access technology, including conference calling, real-time streaming, or other platforms.
Local governments may meet virtually for the purposes of passing budgets, authorizing emergency spending, and taking other action necessary to conduct essential government business in public meetings without endangering the health and safety of the participants of these meetings.
Please take notice that an electronic planning commission meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to gather citizen input on the following requests:
1. Case 21-03: An application for a Zoning Change for 215 South First Street (parcel #70-03-200-451-012), 16 Clinton Avenue (parcel #70-03-20-451-005), and 30 Clinton Avenue (parcel #70-03-20-451-006), from S, Southside District to WF-2, Waterfront 2 District. WITHDRAWN BY APPLICANT
2. Case 21-06: An application for a Special Land Use Permit for 532 Jackson Avenue (parcel #70-03-21-302-008) to operate two Short-Term Rentals in an existing Two-Unit Dwelling.
3. Case 21-07: An application for a Special Land Use Permit for 620 N 5th Street (parcel #70-03-21-155-001) to operate a Short-Term Rental.
4. Case 21-08: An application for a Special Land Use Permit for 526 Adams Avenue (parcel #70-03-21-155-019) to operate a Short-Term Rental.
5. Case 21-09: An application for a Special Land Use Permit for Lucy’s Market at 133 Columbus Avenue (parcel #70-03-20-403-012) for an expansion to an Eating & Drinking Establishment. This project will also require a Site Plan Review.
CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE MEETING.
