The City of Grand Haven Planning Commission has scheduled a Public Hearing to gather citizen input on the following requests:
1. Case 21-18: A proposed text amendment to Sec. 40-701.G of the Zoning Ordinance to allow Large Places of Public Assembly (churches, etc) to have an electronic message board sign.
2. Case 21-43: A request from Jay Cutie of Blue Agate LLC to vacate Waverly Avenue right-of-way between 816 Waverly Avenue and the railroad tracks, pursuant to Ch. 32, Article IV of the Code of Ordinances.
3. Case 21-44: A request for a special land use permit for an Accessory Dwelling located at 311 Orchard Avenue (parcel #70-03-29-425-011).
The Public Hearings are scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the City of Grand Haven Council Chambers, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. If you have any questions regarding this notice, please contact the Community Development Department at 616-935-3276.
Individuals may express their opinions in person at the public hearing, or written comments may be addressed to Jennifer Howland, Grand Haven Planning Commission, 519 Washington Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Emailed comments may be sent to email@example.com. To be considered at the public hearing, written and emailed comments must be received by 12:00PM, Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
