Grand Haven Green - The Eco-Friendly Store
Appealing merchandise, hands-on displays and useful information on saving our planet; all of this can be found at Grand Haven Green. Grand Haven Green - the Eco-Friendly Store is located on the Chinook Pier in the old BC Pizza location. The store markets local items from the tri-cities area and promotes living green. It is a place to find attractive and useful merchandise and learn at the same time.
The store revolves around simple ideas and steps to take in order to have a more sustainable living. Whether it is using reusable grocery bags, eco-friendly cleaning supplies or a reduced-flow showerhead, all can be found at Grand Haven Green. The store also offers displays on eco-friendly light bulbs, live roofs, and recycling to educate the community in a more hands-on fashion. In addition to merchandise and displays, the store provides helpful take-home materials for active and continued green living.
Grand Haven Green is intended to increase awareness and create a more ecologically balanced community, hoping that a few minutes in the store may result in a permanent thought process. Grand Haven Green welcomes all ages, as well as their thoughts and suggestions. The store is open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays through Labor Day.
