Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for many aspects of the City that affects everyone. We maintain all street right-of-ways, including surface repairs, snow plowing, parkway trees, and median maintenance. We provide your drinking water through the water distribution system and maintain the water and sewer lines throughout our City. This department also maintains the parks and Lake Forest Cemetery. Vehicle and equipment maintenance is handled through our Motor Pool Department. All street construction is directed through this department.
